flight operation. The International Trip Planning department compliments our vast number of operational services
such as flight planning, overflight and landing clearances, weather briefings and ground handling coordination,
which helps insure a safe and seamless operation to all parts of the globe.
Aircraft Maintenance: Bizjet

and aircraft maintenance through Bizjet, a Lufthansa Technik company.
Bizjet performs Jet engine maintenance and repair for most business
jets including Gulfstream, Challenger, Falcon Jet, Embraer Legacy/135,
Learjet, Citation, Hawker, Sabreliner, Westwind and Jetstar. Bizjet
is a General Electric authorized overhaul facility for CJ610s and
CF700s, a Pratt & Whitney qualified overhaul facility for JT15Ds,
and an MRO facility for Honeywell TFE731s.
Satellite Communications: Sagen Avionics

JFI's Alliance with ARNAV, a division of SAGEM Avionics ($2 Billion French Electronics Firm), allows it's members to receive preferred customer discounted pricing on the ARNAV RCOM-100 Satphone list price of $19,995.00; JFI Members may purchase the same unit at a 25% discount for $14,995.00. It includes the mounting tray, connector and satellite antenna.
SAGEM and JFI recommends the purchase of wireless handsets for the cabin or use of the existing wiring if the aircraft has a Magnastar phone unit. Estimated time for the installation: Two- (2) days. JFI has negotiated preferential fleet pricing for installation services at Alternative Avionics (will install where aircraft is based) or T.A.S. Van Nuys, California or BizJet in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Satellite Communications Rate Plans: Globalstar
Description
JFI has negotiated preferred customer discounted pricing on Globalstar satellite phone systems and rate plans.
Globalstar makes the airborne office a reality. Bridging the last thousand-mile air gap, its true packet data network offers direct Internet connection and email access at 3x or higher data rates than typical satellite communication networks. The RCOM-100 sat phone is a single line, multi-port Globalstar transceiver. It uses a standard telephone interface for installation flexibility. Installation is facilitated through simple tip-and-ring connection to the ARNAV DialPad /Annunciator, and interfaces to an audio panel, headset, privacy handset, PC, or multi-function display. The DialPad /Annunciator alerts the passengers and crew to incoming calls or satellite phone in-use.

Saftey Recovery Training: National Test Pilot School

Description
JFI members can receive preferred customer pricing or cash in their MACH Dividends for upset recovery training through the National Test Pilot School.
This course covers subjects that are tangentially related to flight test but would be of interest to more than just test pilots. Any pilot who finds himself outside his aircraft's normal operating envelope, intentionally or inadvertently, would benefit from the upset and spin training programs. The formation/low-level/chase program would benefit pilots whose job requires these specialized skills. There is no minimum experience level or special rating required attending any of these courses. This course familiarizes the pilot with what to expect under upset conditions. It is well suited to those who have not flown in aircraft that are cleared for inverted flight or that can depart controlled flight.
